Trung Island (Hòn Trứng), meaning “Egg Island” in Vietnamese, is a small sanctuary within Con Dao National Park and one of the archipelago’s most important seabird habitats. Also known as Hon Da Bac (Silver Rock), the island holds a VietKings record for the highest seabird egg density in Vietnam at 4.88 eggs per square meter (certified in November 2024).
