6:30 AM - Hotel Pickup in Can Tho
Meet your English-speaking guide at your hotel in Can Tho city center at 6:30 AM.
Travel by A/C car toward An Giang Province, with a light breakfast on the way. The drive takes about three hours.
Tra Su Bird Sanctuary
Take a motorboat deeper into Tra Su Forest, then continue by rowboat for about 15 minutes through the flooded cajuput forest.
After the boat ride, walk for approximately 15 minutes to the bird-watching tower. From the tower, you can look across the surrounding forest and watch for birds.
Then continue by rowing sampan through the forest waterways before leaving Tra Su.
Local Lunch in Chau Doc
Return to Chau Doc City for a local lunch.
The light breakfast and lunch are included in the tour. If you are vegetarian or have other dietary requirements, please let Mekong Smile know before departure.
Sam Mountain & Ba Chua Xu Temple
After lunch, continue to the Sam Mountain area and visit Ba Chua Xu Temple, located at the foot of the mountain.
Optional Chau Doc Floating Village Cruise
Additional charge: 200,000 VND per person
An optional wooden-boat visit to Chau Doc Floating Village is available during the tour.
The visit focuses on the floating village and local fish-farming activities.
The cruise is not included in the standard CT07 tour price.
Local Cham Village
Visit a local Cham village in Tan Chau, An Giang, and spend time learning about the local Cham Muslim community and its cultural setting.
The Cham village visit is included in CT07. It is separate from the optional Chau Doc Floating Village cruise.
Return to Can Tho
After the final visit, travel back to Can Tho.
