Together, we embarked on a meaningful environmental cycling journey—a trip measured not by speed, but by the values we spread.

For us at Mekong Smile, this was more than just a sporting activity. It was a declaration, a living symbol of the values we always pursue: a smile is only truly complete when it’s nurtured from a sustainable environment.

This journey offered us the opportunity to transform our commitments to responsible tourism into concrete action. A Meaningful 27km Green Cycling in Can Tho

The carefully selected 27km route connected Can Tho’s historical, cultural, and everyday life values. Starting from the city center, the group rolled through the familiar Ninh Kieu Wharf, circled the historic Lo Vong Cung roads, and reached Cai Rang Floating Market—the heart of Mekong Delta river culture. The image of cyclists with radiant smiles moving through traditional market areas created an intriguing intersection between traditional beauty and modern spirit.

The journey’s final destination was the lush green space of My Khanh Tourist Village. Carrying tranquility and fresh green energy, the group rolled back through Can Tho’s main roads to complete the final leg before stopping at WINK Hotel Can Tho.

Throughout the 27km journey, what resonated most deeply wasn’t the fatigue, but the atmosphere of unity. The words of encouragement, shared smiles, and supportive pats on the back transformed the trip into a true journey.

What is the “Cycling for the Environment – Spreading Green Smiles” event?

This is a community cycling activity co-organized by Mekong Smile with Wink Hotel Can Tho, Ben Thanh Tourist, and My Khanh Tourist Village on June 4, 2025. The event responds to World Environment Day (June 5), promotes green living, and demonstrates tourism businesses’ commitment to Can Tho’s sustainable development.

Why did Mekong Smile participate in a cycling event? How does this relate to tourism?

For us, tourism and the environment have an inseparable relationship. A clean environment and protected ecosystem are the foundation for creating attractive destinations and complete experiences for tourists.
