Mekong Smile Joins Can Tho-Lam Dong Tourism Cooperation

On September 21, 2026, Mekong Smile joined the Can Tho-Lam Dong Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Program in Can Tho City.

The program brought together tourism authorities, associations and businesses to share information, introduce destinations and tourism products, connect with new partners and explore opportunities for regional tourism development.

As part of the event, Mekong Smile joined other tourism businesses from Can Tho in a cooperation signing with businesses from Lam Dong. The program also opened more opportunities for businesses from the Mekong Delta and Lam Dong to connect and explore future tourism products between the regions.

Can Tho and Lam Dong Strengthen Tourism Connections

The program was organized in Can Tho with the participation of the Can Tho Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center and the Lam Dong Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Kieu Duyen, Director of the Can Tho Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, and Mr. Nghiem Dinh Hieu, Director of the Lam Dong Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, joined the program together with representatives from tourism authorities, associations and businesses.

More than 50 businesses working in accommodation, restaurants, travel services, attractions and other tourism-related fields participated.

The event gave businesses an opportunity to introduce their services, exchange market information and meet potential partners. Another focus was creating stronger links between tourism products and destinations in different regions.

For Can Tho and Lam Dong, this means more opportunities to connect the Mekong Delta with highland and coastal destinations rather than promoting each area separately.
