Mekong Smile’s 9th Tour Guide Day, Smile Guide Day 2026, brought together tour guides, colleagues and partners for a day of appreciation, meaningful conversations and shared memories.
Under the theme “Sowing values, guiding the future”, the event was an opportunity to recognize the dedication of tour guides who have accompanied Mekong Smile throughout its journey.
Celebrating the people behind every journey
Tour guides do more than introduce destinations. They connect travelers with local people, traditions and everyday life, helping create experiences that go beyond sightseeing.
During the event, Mekong Smile shared its vision for developing more authentic, locally rooted travel experiences, with tour guides playing an important role in bringing these values to visitors.
The day featured lively water activities at Cantho Eco Resort, shared meals, recognition moments, performances and conversations among participants. Together, these activities created opportunities to reconnect, exchange experiences and strengthen relationships.
