Itinerary
Pick up at the Hotel
Your Can Tho Small Canal Tour begins at 8:30 AM or 2:30 PM, when our local guide greets you at your hotel in Can Tho city center. After a short drive to Ninh Kieu Wharf, you’ll step aboard a traditional wooden boat, ready to leave the city’s bustle behind and glide into a world where time seems to slow down.Small Canal
As your sampan cruises slowly through the small canals, you’ll be treated to scenes of daily life that most visitors never see. The boat weaves through narrow waterways lined with nipa palms, coconut groves, and traditional stilt houses, offering you a front-row seat to the rhythms of rural Mekong living: a farmer paddling to market, a flock of ducks gliding across the water, the vibrant green of rice paddies.Serene Atmosphere of The Countryside
One of the most enchanting aspects of this tour is the serene atmosphere that envelops you as you drift deeper into the Delta. Far from the crowds, the only sounds are the soft splash of water and the melody of birdsong echoing through the trees. This is your chance to truly relax, recharge, and reconnect with nature in a setting that feels both intimate and untouched.Walk Along the Local Track
After your boat journey, you’ll have the opportunity to walk along village tracks. This is where you can interact with locals, discover hidden corners of the countryside, and perhaps even join in daily activities or sample seasonal fruits.Local Guide
Throughout your Can Tho Small Canal Tour, you’ll be accompanied by a passionate local guide. Their knowledge, warmth, and personal stories add a special layer of meaning to every experience, ensuring you don’t just see the Mekong Delta-you feel it.Things to Know

Really excellent agency! They made us a tailor-made itinerary to visit the cai rang market as well as the Mekong Delta with Cree - an excellent guide who gave us a lot of details! And in addition to being very friendly, welcoming and super professional, his English is impeccable it was a real pleasure to listen to him!
Very interesting trip through the jungle and canal. Great pictures. Lots of insights about nature and local farmers. Delicious dinner. Very nice, very knowledgeable and helpful tour guide. We got even extra advice on our return trip to Ho Chi Minh.
We did the 3 hours morning tour, with the floating market and rice noodle factory visit. It was amazing, our guide, Tom was really nice and explained a lot to us. We highly recommend !
The tour we liked very much, met expectations. Tien was a very friendly guide who explained a lot to us what there was to see, told us about the life of the locals and also responded to our current questions. If you want a quiet morning with a boat trip on the big canal and small canals without getting up as early as you have to for the floating market, this tour is just right!
We (4people)had a great private sunrise tour to the floating markets on a little boat with our great guide Jane. She was very friendly and gave us lots of information in good English about the floating markets. Our boat captain (Hue?)was great too. He gave us information about the plants and fruits at the delta. As he couldn’t speak English, Jane translated everything what he said. So it was a perfect match. We also visited a ricenoodle factory which was very interesting.

We had a fantastic time on our Mekong tour! Pi was a wonderful guide—she even shared some delicious local fruits with us. We had a small boat for ourselves. Everything was well organized and comfortable. It was a truly wonderful experience. We went between seasons and we were literally the only tourists.
